Theme: "Shibari and Tantric Dance"

The workshop includes:

- Small tantric shibari sessions, including role reversal

For many, a Shibari session feels like a dance. There are dynamics of someone leading and another person following and surrendering. Shibari, as well as Tantra, requires you to tune into your partners energy, be completely present, listen to their body language and to follow your natural impulses.

For some, it feels very easy to surrender, while others struggle to give up control. On the other side, it can be challenging for some to take up responsibility, while others love to be guided.

We explore these polarities of yin & yang (feminine & masculine) and challenge ourselves to take up different roles by changing our patterns on how we relate to others.

After learning the essential shibari knots, there will be room to experiment and hold tantric shibari sessions for each other in a guided container. We combine simple ties with the dynamics that emerge in a tantric dance to stay in a flow and connected while tying. It will be with clothes on and without involving sexuality.

You can come on your own or already with a partner you would like to share this experience with. No previous experience is required.
