CONSCIOUS SHIBARI WORKSHOP
Theme: Rope and Body Handling
The workshop includes:
-Learning Shibari binding techniques
-Input to rope and body handling
- Emotional and physical safety
- Small sessions with each other including role reversal
- Handout
Explore the Japanese art of bondage. We will learn different ways to transition from one body position to another smoothly. We will learn how to effortlessly move our partners around, even if they are much taller and heavier than us. For example how to go from sitting to kneeling, from kneeling to standing or laying down sideways. This makes a shibari session a lot more dynamic and creative.
We combine different qualities of touch with the ropes, creating a unique sensatory experience on your body.
The aim of this workshop is, that we learn learn tools to bring different elements into the rope play, making the experience more interesting for the rigger and the model.
If you have Shibari ropes, please bring them along. For those who don't, we will provide ropes to borrow or buy.
You can come as an individual or with a partner. No previous experience required.
