About the event

CONSCIOUS SHIBARI WORKSHOP

Focus: "Aesthetics & Intricate Tying Techniques"

The workshop includes:

  • Artistic Shibari binding techniques
  • Emotional and physical safety
  • Small sessions with each other, including role reversal
  • Embodied partner exercises
  • Handout

Shibari is the ancient Japanese art of bondage. In this workshop, we focus on creating beautiful patterns with the ropes on the skin. We learn complex artistic ties to create aesthetic designs to please the eye. In our ties, we combine functionality and beauty, while the rigger and the model remain in connection through conscious touch. Even though we learn a lot of new technical ties, we will have room to be creative, play, and connect authentically with our partners.

The environment is a safer and loving space where we emphasize the connection that establishes between the polarities. It will be with clothes on and without involving sexuality.

You can come on your own or already with a partner you would like to share this experience with. No previous experience is required.

Investment: 127CHF (early bird until 2 weeks before)
